Super 8 Bath Hammondsport Area

The beds were comfortable, but I wouldn’t come back. People who didn’t seem to be guests were lingering outside late, and what looked like a homeless camp stayed behind the property all evening. The lobby felt unwelcoming, and before us, a woman checking in complained that her room was covered in ash. Taken together, the whole experience felt sketchy and unpleasant.

The management were the best I’ve ever known. I stayed at the Super 8 in Bath, NY for about 10 days because of an emergency at home, and from the moment I arrived they treated me like family. They kept asking if I needed anything, including food. I spent my birthday there, and they surprised me with delicious birthday treats. My room was immaculate, with a microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker stocked for regular and decaf coffee. I could fall asleep to just about any movie or show on the giant flat-screen TV, or turn it off and have quiet. The motel is right uptown, with lots of restaurants within a mile. Downtown has historic buildings and a nice little park, and beautiful Keuka lake is only 7 Mike's away. Just an awesome place in a great location.

We were on our way back to Virginia from Niagara Falls with two little kids, and everyone was comfortable here. The hotel is very convenient, less than two minutes from the exit off 390, with food just across the street if you want to walk. It’s quick to get back on the freeway too. The rooms were nice and clean, and the people were friendly and kind. Management really focuses on guests, which I found refreshing. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone. It was a great experience for us.

The room was spacious, with a comfortable bed and pillows and a good bathroom mirror. But breakfast was a joke, and precheck and postcheck were useless because the staff seemed untrained. The first nonsmoking room wasn’t clean and smelled of cigarette smoke, so I got another room right away. That one was better: the bed was made and there was no smoke smell. Still, the microwave and coffee maker weren’t plugged in, and the bathroom had only one large towel.
