The bus stop right outside was convenient, and the WiFi worked well with a clear TV picture. The grounds were lovely, the welcome was friendly, and the room was clean. I'd recommend it.

The room we were shown at check-in was in awful shape: dirty, damaged, stained, smelly, and with a hole in the busted door that let you see straight through. When we told the office we wouldn't stay, staff said, "it's a $65 room, what do you expect?" They then tried to sell us a remodeled room for extra money instead of refunding us, and I don't understand why they hadn't offered that room first. The place was almost empty, though a few people there made us even more uncomfortable. We took the loss and found another hotel that didn't feel terrifying. Worst hotel I've ever seen.

For $60, the room was a pleasant surprise: clean, no bad smell, working AC, and a cute shower that was easy to use. We arrived around 11 pm and waited about 20 minutes for someone to come to the front desk, but check-in itself was fine. It was a peaceful night, with hardly anyone staying and not much noise from Florida Blvd. We checked out without trouble the next morning. The location isn't great, though there's a bus every 30 minutes right outside that goes straight downtown. I booked only a couple of days ahead, and for that price it was a solid stay.

The room had a nice amount of space and was laid out almost like a small studio, with a mini kitchen area, full fridge, microwave, desk and dresser. The bed was set apart on the other side. Staff were really friendly and helpful, and I could see staying here longer if I needed to.
