The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the updated room was spotless. We also had a great shower with strong water pressure. Getting in and out was simple with the code they sent ahead of time, so there was no front desk to deal with. This family run place is doing a wonderful job. I used to run a motel, so I have high standards, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. We stayed here before our Christmas stay at Xanedu Island and will definitely be back.

The place looked beautiful and was updated and super clean. Check-in couldn’t have been easier, and the owners and staff gave us wonderful service. Thanks so much for everything!

The owner was quick to respond whenever we needed something, and the location is great. The rooms are very nice too. The beds could be more comfortable, but we had a great experience overall and I’d recommend staying here.

I booked online for an overnight motorcycle trip on my own to Battle Lake, and finding the place was easy. They texted me a door code, and the bed was comfortable. The whole process was friendly and straightforward.
8/10
It was easy to get in right away with the code they sent on check-in day, and I liked being able to open the window for fresh air. The room was clean and in good shape. My only small complaints: check-in at 4 pm felt late, and I wish the door had another security feature, like a chain or bar. Otherwise, a very nice motel.
