The beds were comfortable, and the front desk lady was super kind and understanding. But our room smelled of boiled broccoli and weed as soon as we walked in, and the odor never went away. The heat was set to 65°F, so we turned it on and could smell dust burning off the AC. Breakfast was okay if you chose carefully. The orange juice was mostly water, and the potatoes were boiled, not fried.

Breakfast is worth getting up a little early for. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and it was pretty quiet. I was in an even-numbered room, so I could hear trains at night, but they weren't super loud.

If the other hotels or motels are full, I'd still recommend sleeping in your car over this dump. I wish I could give it zero stars. The management and staff were terrible, and this place should give back the star I gave it. My check-in room was unclean. Even though the room sign said cleaning service was available after stays longer than three nights, I only got it by request. The front desk was often unattended, with staff either smoking or on their phones, and I saw staff smoking inside the building. The laundry machine left my clothes dirtier than before. There was no water pressure on the third floor. Breakfast was a mess: biscuits without gravy and gravy without biscuits, raw sausage, raw frozen diced potatoes, a broken coffee machine, eggs that gave me food poisoning, bad apples in the fruit bowl, and no way to cook the oatmeal. It would also help if the hot plate cover could stay open without going all the way back or having to be held while getting food. The manager apparently chooses to save $5,000 a year on things that would make guests' stays better, like pancake batter measuring cups, infused water packets for the drink station, or slightly nicer breakfast. I could hear the General Manager berating staff about money and pay from down the hall while I was in my room, because he's living at the hotel. I was accused of things that would have been on camera and in front of other guests or staff, but nobody verified anything. The GM and staff said I'd used language I don't even use. The general manager then spent 35 minutes yelling at me about it without checking, and threatened to kick me out even though I was checking out the next day. It's embarrassing to see employees attacked in public, and I feel sorry for the immigrant working hard here to make it in this small town. You shouldn't be made uncomfortable for complaining that bolts need to be screwed into the bell cart. Make sure you have the right person before confronting them and yelling in the hallway. How you react to a situation, including your thoughts, is your own responsibility and shapes the impression you give others. And one more thing: the public PC had passwords saved for a couple dozen accounts that someone had opened the morning I left.

I came here to relax, and that's what I did. The room was clean and cozy, though smaller than I expected. Service was amazing: when I had an issue with the TV, they responded in less than 5 minutes. Breakfast was fine, but a few more options would be nice.

There was a good-sized area to walk the dogs, with cute treats for them. The employees were friendly, and the hotel was quiet and clean. Breakfast ran until 10 and had scrambled eggs, sausage, and gravy. Coffee was made by the cup with individual selections, which was difficult to get right.
