Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Baxter Brainerd Area

When I was going through a really hard time, this hotel gave me a clean, comfortable room and a bit of peace when I needed it most. The staff treated me with kindness and respect and made things feel easier. I'll always be grateful. Some places become more than somewhere to sleep, and this one helped make a better memory for me. Thank you. 💛

The floors in the room were greasy and dingy, the walls looked like they'd been smoked in over and over, and the toilet kept clogging when I tried to flush. Worst of all, I found blood on the pillow, under the pillowcase, from a previous guest. Disgusting. The hotel and staff were the worst and most disrespectful. I paid for two nights and want my money back. Who can handle this blood-on-the-pillow issue? I want a refund, and I'm getting ahold of BBB.

I thought the decent rating meant we'd avoid bed bugs, but I was wrong. This morning, as I was about to wash my face, bed bugs fell into the sink when I opened a clean rag. I told the front desk, and they said they couldn't do anything about a refund until management was available.

There was a dry, raw chicken bone in the shower. Cleaning staff should check every part of the room so guests don't have to wonder how it got there. The late-night front desk woman was kind and understood, and she moved me to a different room.
