We stayed for two weeks because of work, and the room was clean by my standards with everything working. The shower could have had better water pressure, but housekeeping was outstanding. They did more than swap towels like at most hotels we've stayed at: they cleaned surfaces and mopped the floors, and even vacuumed the suite when we had our pet with us. The pet area was clean and roomy, and parking was good. There’s no pool. The outdoor area was comfortable, with grills and nice seating. Shops, groceries, and other retail were a short drive or a long walk away. Everyone on staff we encountered was resourceful, kind, and professional.

We booked through the IHG app, but the front desk couldn't find our reservation. We understand that can happen, but they did nothing except tell us twice to call customer service. IHG reps called the desk twice as well, and still nothing got sorted out. We ended up wasting three hours and losing our day at the beach. Finally, we got a room at Fairfield a few minutes away, which was very good. Stay away from this candlewood if you want a happy vacation. W

The rooms were really comfortable, and the cleanliness stood out. The GM was warm and genuine, too. I had a great stay.

The room door had huge gaps, and big roaches kept coming in. I complained to the front desk several times. The 13-inch TV was so tiny that I had to sit in the chair right in front of it to see anything. I haven't had a hotel TV that small since I was a kid.

The desk clerk was kind and very helpful, and I slept like a baby. But housekeeping needs to do better: there was urine on the lower part of the toilet. Only two women were staying in the room, so it hadn't come from us.
