Breakfast was included and amazing, and we could see Lake Superior from our room. The place was beautiful and comfortable, with a mix of older and modern touches that reminded me of my grandma's house growing up. The steps were a bit hard on my knees, so it may not suit you if stairs are difficult.

We were in Room 12, the Moroccan Suite, and it was so nicely furnished, clean, and cozy. The cold, rainy days were perfect for staying in and reading. Breakfasts were delicious, and everyone on staff was courteous, friendly, and helpful. We loved our stay and highly recommend this place.

We were only three walking blocks from Lake Superior, in a beautiful area with cute shops and restaurants at reasonable prices. The place has an old-world feel and is comfortable, with a good bed. The chef made great food and seems to be at the top of their profession.

It's amazing, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit. 1-20-26 UPDATE: I loved it so much that Paul Miller and I moved here for six months to see how it goes. If wishes came true, I'd never have to look anywhere else for a new home. But the community is beautiful and perfect without me, so I'll visit Paul and the Phillips whenever I can and enjoy The Rittenhouse Inn for years to come.

The Turret Suite in the Chateau was a wonderful place to stay, just a few blocks from the Old Rittenhouse and at least as pretty. We loved the authentic furnishings and the magnificent lake view. For breakfast, we walked to the Old Rittenhouse, which was a perfect start before exploring the beautiful area. We got the warmest welcome and the best breakfast service we've had in the US. The food was delicious, and it was heartwarming to meet the B&B's first employee, who has worked there since 1974. He is attentive, sincerely friendly, and excellent at what he does. Thank you for having us!
