Isabelle at the front desk greeted me with a smile and made me feel welcome. I arrived early last Friday, 12/5/25, for a company offsite meeting and needed somewhere to work on my laptop while waiting to join my team. She took good care of me and found me a good place to work. I’m grateful for her professional service and for Hilton. As a Diamond member who travels often for work, this is the kind of treatment that keeps me staying at Hilton. Home 2 Suites by Hilton in Baytown TX is a great place to stay.

The management finally got the coffee issue sorted out. The managers and employees are generally kind people, and I stand by my original point, though I could’ve been kinder myself. Sorry about that. In my defense, I hadn’t had coffee that morning! 😂 A hotel going days without coffee is inexcusable. They should use petty cash to buy some from a mile down the road until they get things working. They shouldn’t blame a storm that might not even affect the area in the future. Own the mistake and fix it.

The team won’t be coming back, even though we have several projects in Baytown. The hotel was hot and musty, the store had no snacks, and they’d run out of bottled water. Another coworker found cockroaches in their room. My coworker had been moved out of a room the night before because of a leaking ceiling and mold. Hours later, I was checked into that same room, which they’d just painted over. Beloved Room 315. They moved me again because the air conditioning was broken, then finally put me in a good room. Do not go here.

The location is great, but I’d stay somewhere else. The rooms have an odor, and I’ve had missing towels and soap. You can report problems, but the front desk doesn’t seem interested. From my stays, the A/C units have also been the loudest I’ve heard, and clearly need work.
