Island Guest House B&B

The anniversary weekend couldn’t have gone better. Joanne and Mark welcomed us warmly, and Jamie, you were awesome too. I loved chatting with you on our last day! Christina does a great job cleaning the rooms. The guests were friendly and respectful, which matters in a historic home where you can naturally hear people moving around once the day gets going. The rooms are cozy, but still feel like your own space. Mark gave us a quick rundown of local island culture, Joanne offered recommendations, and the enclosed outdoor shower was amazing. And if Joanne asks what you’d like for breakfast and you enjoy quiche, try hers. Creamy and perfect! I hope they’re open in the off-season, because we’ll be back soon.

The house, rooms, food, and people we met were all top shelf. It’s a block and a half from the beach, an easy walk, and close to everything we needed. We had a tremendous three-night stay. The hosts were incredibly nice, helpful, and accommodating. I can see us going back soon.

Being in the same house with almost everyone I love was incredible, and this weekend became a dream come true for so many, especially my son and his wife. Your guest house helped make it happen. It gave family members room for lots of small, spontaneous interactions, and each morning the breakfast room was full of your delicious food, happy faces, and laughter. I’m so grateful for how kind you were to my parents, especially my mother. Your patient conversations meant a lot, and she still can’t stop talking about you. Christina was incredibly generous to lend her earrings for the wedding. I also appreciated your unexpected help while I hosted the rehearsal dinner in the guest house. Thank you for making the weekend unforgettable.

We had an amazing three days at the Island guest house. They take dogs, the rooms and amenities are wonderful, and the breakfast is incredible. Beach haven is already a special place, and staying here made it even better. The hosts truly make you feel like family. We couldn’t ask for a better vacation spot and can’t wait to go back.
