The rooms were roomy and the bed was so comfortable. We came for an anniversary getaway, and our first bed and breakfast stay went beyond what we expected. Billie is amazing, I honestly don't know how she manages everything. The Bishwind was spotless, the grounds were lovely, and there's a pleasant trail around the property. Breakfast was great, especially Sunday's Mexican egg omelet wrap. We'd absolutely recommend it for a romantic trip.

We loved the mix of modern comforts and old character in this historic building. It felt warm and cozy, with none of the dustiness or drafts you sometimes get in an older place, and everything was spotless. Billie was charming and welcoming, and breakfast was delicious. The property is beautiful and very well cared for. We enjoyed a long walk around the lake, and there are plenty of nearby attractions. We were in the Poconos for the fall foliage and stayed a couple of days. We've tried several East Coast B&Bs over the years, and this one is our favorite. We may come back next spring or summer, and highly recommend the Bischwind Bed & Breakfast.

We stayed in the Wolf's Den, where the sheets were silky and the floorboards gave a nice romantic creak. Billie also makes a BANGIN' omelet. This is probably the most beautiful, peaceful bed and breakfast I've visited. We came during the snow and cold, so we'll definitely return when it's warmer and we can enjoy the stay and grounds more fully. Thanks for such a great experience, we're already looking forward to booking again!!

Billie, Bischwind's owner and innkeeper, was the highlight of our visit. She kept finding ways to make us comfortable, even calling before we arrived to offer to make a Valentine's Day dinner reservation. In the Teddy Roosevelt suite, we loved settling into the oversized leather recliners by a real roaring fire and browsing the two huge floor-to-ceiling bookcases. As bibliophiles, that was a treat. The historic bed was beautiful and surprisingly comfortable, with a great mattress and pillows and soft sheets that felt like silk. FANTASTIC B&B, it surpassed every expectation. We had a wonderful time and hope to return soon!

We stayed in Wolf’s Den with my 12 year old daughter, and it was clean, fresh-smelling, and really cozy. Breakfast each morning was lovely, and they even had dessert with it! Billy, the innkeeper, was so nice to talk to and made us feel welcome and at home. I fell for the house as soon as I saw it, and the inside is immaculate. The property backs up to Bear Creek Lake, with a trail for walking or biking. It was a lovely spot for a fall foliage weekend, exceeded our expectations, and we'll definitely come back.
