The room had a notice warning that the water contained BACTERIA and should not be DRUNK. There were rats running around freely, along with roaches, bedbugs and more. The sheets were dirty, the bathroom hadn't been cleaned, and the ceilings looked ready to collapse. Snow had turned to ice, and I saw at least two people fall. The motel is right by the main road, so vehicle noise is constant. When I tried to check out, I waited over an hour with nobody at the desk and no answer to calls or the bell. The owner's daughter started screaming when I said I'd been waiting that long. At check-in, I was told the deposit wouldn't be refunded until checkout. I don't know how or why the Health Department lets them operate. If you NEED COMPANY in your room, look no further. This place is a dump and should be closed in its current condition.

The motel is old, and the rooms show it, with water stains in the shower and toilet. It was cold outside, though, and the staff member told me to check the room before paying. They said to let them know if it was too cold, and when I did, they brought a huge electric space heater that warmed it up. They were kind, honest, and went the extra mile. The customer service cannot be beat, so I'd definitely recommend it.

At first we didn't understand why bottled water was free at reception. Then we saw the notice on the room door saying the tap water had bacteria, which explained the rusty taste. How can they give guests rooms when they know the water is contaminated? If we'd known we wouldn't even be able to bathe, we wouldn't have come to this awful place at all.

The staff were friendly and patient, which is the only reason this motel avoids a zero-star rating. I stayed for a weekend trip last month, and the room was dusty and dirty. There was hair and unidentified stuff all over the beds, the toilet was in terrible, disgusting condition, and the microwave had lots of stains inside. The TV picture was poor, with many channels showing only static. The sink's hot water smelled oddly like rust, and the shower didn't work and looked in very bad shape.

For a one-night stop, this place is reasonably cheap, serves breakfast, and has friendly, helpful staff. The bed was comfortable, but I wasn't sure it was clean since there was still hair on the sheets. The place felt a bit sketchy, and the shower handle literally came off when I tried to turn it on.
