Rates change every day, which is absurd, and the vending machine doesn't work and probably never will from the sound of it. There's a lack of communication, and some people at the front desk are rude. It's far from a Baymont or Days Inn, though the construction workers coming and going seem to mean the motel can charge what it does. The cleaning woman, who is the staff's mother, is attentive and friendly. I'd personally pay an extra $20 to stay elsewhere and get a nice breakfast.

I called three times to ask about bringing my dogs and was told it was okay. I checked again when I arrived, and they said the dogs were fine. After I moved all my things upstairs and had been there an hour, the check-in clerk came up and said pets weren't allowed and wanted a $100 deposit. I got most of my money back, but the rooms were garbage and full of mold. I woke up sick. I'd give zero stars if I could.

The ice machine worked well, and the guest laundry seemed to work. The rest of the place was in pretty sorry shape: weeds growing through the parking lot, paint peeling inside and out, and trash piled high beside the dumpsters.

Some staff are really kind and helpful, including the woman and man I spoke with. Others lack basic care and concern. One maintenance guy watched me carrying my daughter in one hand and a load of groceries in the other, then handed me bedding and towels. It was also really weird that some staff won't let you vacuum your floor if you missed the morning cleanup. The communication is poor, and I wish I could rate staff separately. I'd recommend checking in during the kind employees' shifts. The others should follow their lead.
