Pecan Tree Inn

The innkeepers were friendly and very helpful, and keypad entry made it easy to get in. We booked two lovely rooms for two nights in early May 2025. Breakfasts were beautifully presented and delicious. The internet was quite slow, and we found the available charger access, USB-C ports only, a bit limited. Still, there’s so much to do in Beaufort that you probably won’t need much screen time.

We stayed two nights in the Queen Ann suite, which had its own outdoor entrance. The room was great, the bathroom and soaking tub were lovely, and the mattress was really comfortable. It’s perfectly placed for walking to the shops and restaurants, and breakfast was both delicious and convenient. On Sunday morning we also walked over to Ann St United Methodist church.

Stan was always around with good recommendations, and Christine made amazing breakfasts every morning. We also enjoyed chatting with the other guests. Stan, Christine, and Linda made us feel at home from the start. Everything at the Pecan Tree Inn was wonderful, and so many attractions and historical sites were easy to reach on foot. We loved exploring the streets and seeing the old sites.

We really enjoyed talking with Stan and Christine about Beaufort and the inn’s history. We visited in December, when the place was sparkling with Christmas decorations. The historic building and common areas have plenty of charm, along with all the modern amenities. Breakfast each day was fresh, hearty, and delicious. It’s in the historic area, with sites, shops, and lots of quality restaurants owned by chefs all within walking distance. Highly recommend the Pecan Tree Inn.
