HomeBridge Inn and Suites

We’ve stayed at several hotels in the area, and this one stands out. The rooms were large, clean, and well appointed, and breakfast was done well. Service was great, too. It felt more like a family-run operation than a soulless big corporation. We’ve had two great stays here recently. Highly recommend!

The rooms were nice and clean, and the front desk staff were very nice. We slept well despite the noise from the interstate right in front of the hotel and the high noise level in the rooms. It’s good value for the price. Breakfast could have been good if there’d been enough waffle mix. The orange juice was too thick and tasted spoiled.

The staff were very nice when we checked in and out, and the breakfast choices were limited but good enough. My one complaint is that the toilets in both our rooms barely flushed and nearly overflowed when we tried.

For work I stayed five nights. On the evening of my last night, I paid cash to book one more night for the following night. By 6:30 the next morning, my plans had changed, so I asked if I could cancel and keep my original checkout date. They said no because of the 24-hour cancellation policy, even though when I paid for the extra night I was already outside that window. The lot had been less than half full all week, so I guess they needed to keep the money. The room was okay, but the carpet and couch were dated, the towels were quite rough, and the Wi-Fi wasn’t great. It’s much too close to the highway, and the doors don’t block sound, so it felt like sleeping right on the road. Luckily I had earplugs. Breakfast was minimal. What bothered me was that this place seems family-run but was less flexible and accommodating than a chain hotel.
