We came from another state because of a hurricane, but the smell of chemicals and loud cigarettes was nauseating. The place was filthy, and I wouldn’t trust these reviews; they must be fake. The mattress had yellow stains, which I saw after removing the sheets to check it, and there were bugs. The microwave and refrigerator were disgusting. One wipe with a Lysol wipe came away full of dirt. Other hotels were booked, so we left earlier than we should have. This place didn’t feel clean or safe for kids. There are better hotels for the price. Check your accounts, too, because I was charged twice.

The staff were kind and gave helpful suggestions when I asked. My two-week stay was good overall. The room was clean but needed some repairs. Since smoking rooms are available, smoke carried into the hallways. It was a bit noisy so close to the highway, though the room muffled most of the sound.

The place smelled horrible on every floor, and the refrigerator in our room didn’t work. The bathtub was dirty, too. We asked for coffee and were told we had to make it ourselves. Customer service? There wasn’t any, and this was the worst stay I’ve had. Never again. I should have checked the ratings first. The guy at the front desk was nice during check-in, then things changed. The hotel had bed bugs, and after he moved us to another room, we found bullet holes. We asked for towels so we could shower, but he said they were out and couldn’t give us more. I was very upset and insisted on fresh towels. He gave us two large beach towels, with no face cloths, and never apologized for the inconvenience.

We came here after being displaced from New Orleans and needed somewhere to stay. The room was filthy, with used soap, things left in the fridge, and toenail clippings on the floor. When we asked for it to be cleaned, the staff got angry. They'd said there was a kitchen, but there wasn't one. The pool smelled bad and had green stuff in it, and there was no breakfast or customer service. This was worse than the storm. I need a refund. Please don't stay here, sleep in your car or on the street instead.
