Josh and Jayden were the real standouts at Kiva. They were kind, quick to respond, and went out of their way to make sure everything ran smoothly and that I felt looked after. Their professionalism and friendly way of welcoming us made a big difference. The property is beautiful and comfortable, and the location is great. We couldn't have asked for better hosts, and we'd gladly stay again. Highly recommend Kiva, especially with Josh and Jayden!
Our children were woken several times during the night because the dishes rattled in the cabinets. A family that owns three third-floor units runs through the halls and sounds like they're wrestling all evening. We tried speaking to them, but they kept jumping and running, seemingly even more in retaliation for asking them to be respectful. It's sad that some owners in the building show so little consideration for their neighbors below.
Kiva 324 was lovely, nicely done, quiet, and had beautiful views from the third floor. The condos and location are great. We were there the second-to-last week of the season, and although we got lucky with snow and could ski in and out, even a bit of walking would be manageable. The kids with us were 9 to 16, and even the younger ones reached the slopes easily. Ski lockers are by the bridge to the lifts, perhaps 100 yards or less from the locker to the downhill slope. The kitchen had pots, pans, cooking utensils, a coffee pot, and a blender. Beyond salt and pepper, plan to buy food supplies like oil and Saran Wrap. There's a large heated pool, two small hot tubs, and a sauna. We used the grill, but there wasn't a brush to clean it.
Josh was great at check-in, and JT and Jaydon were so helpful while we were there. All three were friendly and easygoing. The Kiva makes skiing in and out easy. The rooms are a little dated, but comfortable, with good beds and fully stocked kitchens. Nice hot tubs too. Highly recommend!
We had two families of four and one grandma in unit 428 for our first ski stay at Kiva. We missed the ski-in/ski-out setup at The Highlands, but the unit was fantastic, with more space to move around and store gear for eight skiers. The details helped a lot: plenty of jacket hooks and bench space for ski gear, a footstool for the little kids, lots of humidifiers, kid-sized hangers, genuinely sharp knives, and a dining table that comfortably seats nine. For me, carrying my skis and my kid's across the bridge was worth it.
