The vending machine took my money and jammed the candy, and the desk basically shrugged when I called. The vending company eventually agreed to refund the $10 or $15, though they got huffy about it. I also had a frustrating checkout: I was leaving at 5:45, before breakfast started, and couldn't get anyone to check me out. I left the key and a note, then called to confirm. They still hadn't checked me out, but at least I called early enough that they couldn't bill me for more time. The bigger issue came after I got home. They charged my $250 deposit and took 18,000 miles, claiming I'd broken the no-smoking rule. I hadn't smoked inside. I have a prescribed THC vape, and at check-in around 10 pm, after a very long wait despite booking with Capital One miles, they told me to vape outside because everything nearby was closed. They said they'd fix the charge, but didn't, so I had to do a chargeback. I was only there to hunt for rocks. Pick somewhere else.

You can hear the I-15 traffic, and other guests will wake you up. The beds are very uncomfortable and too tall to be ADA compliant. It's basically four walls and a roof, with nothing quality about the inn. Go to a Best Western.

My son was especially happy with the mini waffles, and breakfast also had eggs, oatmeal, and pastries, even though there wasn't a hot breakfast. The remodeled rooms felt modern and were very clean. Check-in was friendly and helpful, too. We got good dinner recommendations and help planning the rest of our national parks trip.

After a long day driving, we were too exhausted to complain about the clogged tub drain, so we tried to shower and get some rest. The water was still sitting there the next morning, cold and disgusting. We also felt unsafe because the room door had no security latch. This place missed basic hygiene and safety standards. We absolutely don't recommend it.

The breakfast selection was very limited, and the room was pretty small for what we paid. It didn't feel like a good deal.
