The rooms were clean and nice, and I liked the fitness center. There’s no pool or hot tub, though. Parking costs $10 overnight, and I’m not sure why. The cafe serves breakfast and dinner, but its hours vary and meals cost extra. Free coffee in the lobby would’ve been nice.

I’ve stayed here twice in one month and never heard the nearby light rail, though they do provide earplugs. A very light sleeper might notice it. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, and the hotel is centrally located. I’d stay again. My only service complaint is having to join as a member to get free Wi-Fi.

The lobby cafe was pleasant, and the staff were nice to chat with while ordering. The Starbucks coffee was a bonus. We were aware of the trains, and the woman at check-in moved us to the far side of the hotel without us even asking. We didn’t hear a thing. My husband and I enjoyed our three-day vacation here, especially the new room layout with a full couch where we could sit to watch TV or eat. We’ll come back when we’re visiting the area.

Erica at the front desk was fantastic when my partner and I stayed for the weekend. She listened and was really understanding, especially when I said Marriott was screwing its loyal customers. That was a striking contrast with Marriott corporate.

A handy place if you’re already nearby and meeting a date or doing something spontaneous. There’s plenty to do around here, and an Uber ride anywhere isn’t far. Definitely better than a Motel 6. (Still, shout out to Motel 6.)
