Homewood Suites by Hilton Hillsboro/Beaverton

We keep coming back for the location, the extra room, and the separate bedroom. The hot breakfast is good, and the rooms are generally decent, but the hotel is beginning to feel neglected and worn. Our room had the basics covered, yet it wasn’t as clean as it should be: the desk was filthy underneath and the windows were dirty. Reading in bed is hard too, thanks to the ridiculous bedside lamps.

We spent three weeks here for a project, and the price and location made it well worth it. The courtyard is spacious and nicely arranged. The grills have their own pavilion, with good lighting and a wash area, which is a thoughtful setup. The staff were genuinely nice and very helpful. We’ll come back next time we’re passing through.

The room was mostly okay, but the bathroom and bathtub were pretty nasty and spoiled the experience. We thought the free breakfast might make up for it, but that wasn’t good either. I wouldn’t return.

There’s a bit more space here, and the courtyard has two gas fire pits and BBQs if you want a break from eating out. Breakfast had a good variety. They even went out and bought gluten-free bread for my son, which I appreciated.
