Everything looked fairly new, clean, and in good shape, and the included breakfast was handy when we didn’t feel like going out. Food carts are just a short walk away, though their hours and open options can vary. For access to Beaverton activities, the location works well, and the MAX makes getting around easy. I stayed one night. Keep in mind that parking right outside is restricted at certain times Monday through Friday, and paid parking on the property is very limited.

Parking costs extra, just so you know. The beds and pillows were comfortable, and the bathroom had plenty of space, including a roomy shower. Everything seemed clean and there were no bad smells. I enjoyed the stay and will return.

Ask for a room away from the MAX crossing if you stay here. Mine was on the fifth floor overlooking it, and the crossing bells sounded every 15 minutes from about 5:30 in the morning. The MAX station is right nearby, which makes the hotel easy to reach from the airport, and there are several places within walking distance, including a food truck court. Other room problems added up. The phone started beeping regularly around 4 AM because of what seemed like a battery connection issue; taking it out of the cradle and putting it back fixed it. I’d heard the beeping while trying to sleep and thought it might be an alarm clock in another room. The air conditioning had a slightly moldy smell that eased when I switched to heat. The thermostat always goes back to 68 degrees, whatever temperature you set, and the windows don’t open. At 7 AM, a very loud fire alarm required everyone to leave, though fortunately there was no fire.

The rooms are nice and the service is friendly, and this is a convenient hotel. But check your credit card statement: the card reader charged me twice, and the hotel has been slow to remove the duplicate charge.
