WoodSpring Suites Beaverton - Portland West

The room is tiny, with no real space at all. I expected a suite with a living room, but it was just two beds, one stove, and a fridge. The geese are super loud, and there's a smoke smell. Outside, the fresh paint makes it look new, but inside it feels old and run-down. The neighborhood feels very unsafe.

On the first night, I moved the pillows and found blood on the sheets. Then, the night before checkout, I came back to find all my things removed and the food from the fridge thrown away. The staff couldn't have cared less and gave me half a night off. Horrible experience. I won't return.

The privacy was one of the things we liked most. After long days of shopping, it was nice to come back to a space that felt like our own, and with housekeeping not daily, our purchases stayed safe and undisturbed. The spacious room had a small kitchen, which made preparing our own meals much easier. The hotel was clean, conveniently located, and unlike anywhere else we've stayed. The staff and reception team were welcoming and helpful from the start. We found our way around easily, appreciated the on-site laundry, and liked having complimentary coffee every morning. They also handled our Amazon deliveries smoothly, even though packages arrived almost every day. We were very comfortable and happy at WoodSpring, and will choose it again when we're back in Portland.

The new WoodSpring Suites Beaverton opened sometime this year, and it's a nice, clean, up-to-date place to stay. But at night you can hear every little noise from other rooms and the hallways when you're trying to sleep. There are also cigarettes all over the ground at the front entrance. That makes a brand-new hotel look trashy and nasty, bringing my rating down to 3 stars from what could have been 4.
