We stayed two nights over the holiday weekend. The room was clean and cozy, and the shower was great. For the price, those were our main priorities. It was also reasonably accessible, not too far off the beaten path between the north and south. The place felt a little creepy, though. There isn't an office and everything is handled by email. A woman did come out to help us check in when we were about to call the number they provided. The refrigerator leaked and wasn't cold, and trying to make popcorn in the microwave nearly blew a fuse. All the windows and the sliding door were sealed shut. We wanted a budget hotel and know you get what you pay for, but with the extra $30 cleaning fee, we felt there were better options closer to where we wanted to be. We probably won't stay again.

Clean, basic room, nothing fancy. It's a simple alternative to camping, and I have no real complaints.

For a month, I worked online while looking out my door, and that view made me happier than I'd been in a long time. The owner is a nice guy, and everyone I met was nice. Geese came by my door every day; I fed them stale bread or chips, and eventually started buying food for them.

The area has its ups and downs, and the place is older, but the rooms are okay.

We won't stay here again. The room was dirty to start with, yet they charge a $30 cleaning fee. There was hair on our towels and on the bathroom walls, and the mattresses were so uncomfortable it felt like sleeping on a door. The two nights came to $150 because of that "cleaning" fee. The only cool thing was being able to unlock the room door over wifi.
