The staff were wonderful, and we had fun playing games in the lobby and having breakfast each morning. The pool and hot tub weren't available, but the location worked great for skiing at Winterplace. They also have a cash bar for drinks and snacks, plus some medicine. We'd stay again.

Plenty of parking, and it's in a good spot near some nice restaurants. The rooms were spotless, modern, clean, and practical, and the staff were really friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was decent, though the choices were a little limited. I'd recommend it if you're visiting Beckley, West Virginia.

Andrea greeted me as soon as I came in looking for a room. She was lovely and got the booking and payment done in about five minutes. I spoke with her and other staff several times during my stay, and everyone was wonderful. The room was comfortable and very clean. Andrea's customer service was 10-star, and I hope to see her on my next visit. I highly recommend this motel.

Comfy beds, a walk-in shower, and hardly any noise. Nice hotel. I booked through hotels.com for $113 for two adults and a child. They had a hot breakfast, though we didn't try it. I did miss having a coffee pot in the room.

Just a heads-up about my situation: travel trouble had kept me awake for 25 hours, and my truck needed towing to a service center. I asked if I could get a few hours of sleep, not a whole night. Instead, I paid full price for a room after 3 am, right beside a busy entrance. The walls were so thin I could hear the neighbors. Breakfast had no coffee, the waffle station was a mess and out of batter, and there was a huge food stain on the wall and a poop stain in the shower. I just needed rest and got more hassle. This is the kind of place that makes “FALLING DOWN” seem realistic. Keeping guests happy isn't rocket science. Don't be greedy.
