We only came because we couldn't find any other vacancy, and I was disappointed as soon as I checked the room. There were two pairs of dirty socks and a hanger behind the TV stand, which we noticed while eating and turning the TV toward the table. The toilet seat was nasty, the bed was stained enough that I didn't want to lie on it, and there was a piece of black hair on the towels even though neither of us had touched them. We're not coming back.

The staff were attentive and did their best, but they had very little to work with. The public bathroom was in bad shape: there was only a little water in the soap dispenser, no paper towels, and the faucet was so loose it could be lifted right off the sink. The hotel has new owners, but they haven't put anything into fixing the place up. They also haven't changed the sign, so we had trouble finding the hotel.

The room was dirty when we checked in, so we had to go back to the front desk and ask for another one. The young lady's attitude was terrible again. She said, “housekeeping said they cleaned it but I guess not,” with no apology or real response to the problem. She had already been too busy on her phone to acknowledge me or focus on her job, and she rudely explained the pet charge too. With the previous owners, I'd paid a deposit and got it back at the end of my visit. Now there's a $25 fee per night, regardless of any damage. This place isn't pet friendly. Do not stay here.

I asked to speak with a manager, but the front desk lady wouldn't let me. She got rude and told me I was giving her attitude, then told me to leave, just because I wanted to see the room before booking. I'd never stayed there before, and I want to see where I'll be staying, especially when I'd have to put down a $100 deposit and pay another $70. If the room is nice and clean, why not show it to the customer? That felt shady. I'm usually very polite, but after that I won't come back.
