The front desk woman was nice to me, and I paid $60. The room is very cheap, but the mildew smell and poor condition make it pretty clear why. If you just need an inexpensive place to sleep, it’ll do. Don’t expect anything beyond that: sleep, then leave.

We only stayed because there was nowhere else for my daughter, husband, and me during World Cup Finals weekend. The place was awful: bugs throughout, stains on the bathroom floor, and a toilet that hadn’t even been cleaned. It was not clean at all, and my husband ended up with a rash from who knows what. Wouldn’t recommend it.

A previous guest had left a phone in the room. That, along with the bedding, made me wonder whether anything gets cleaned or changed between guests. The pillow under the case was tan instead of white, and the sheets had yellow stains when I pulled them back. This place was nasty, and I’d give it zero stars if I could. Would I stay again? No. Do better, especially in the middle of a pandemic.

There was a car in front of the next room, I think, packed with garbage right up to the driver’s seat. I’m not sure whether anyone was in that room or if it was just the car. Inside my room, I found dead roaches everywhere, used bar soap in the shower, and an almost empty bottle of ranch dressing in the refrigerator. I was utterly disgusted. This was the worst place I’ve stayed in over 20 years. Even one star is too good.
