Atwell Suites Belgrade Bozeman Airport by IHG

The wine issue was the biggest letdown. I asked for a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon at check-in, and it was poured very carefully, but it had been kept in the fridge with the white wine and was icy cold by the time I got upstairs. I didn't drink it, brought it back the next morning, and asked for a credit. Anna, the manager, refused. That felt like poor customer service. We'd come to try this new IHG property, but it fell short. I was checking in with my very pregnant daughter and my 20-month-old granddaughter. After we got the first room key, the phone rang and the desk clerk took the call without putting it on hold. We waited while he finished a reservation before he could give us the second key. The rooms were fine, though I don't understand why there was only one barstool for the table, and the comforter felt like a sheet. We skipped breakfast. The Holiday Inn Express across the street has much better choices, including pancakes, waffles, fruit, and different kinds of milk. There are better IHG options nearby. Don't be taken in just because this hotel is new.

The second-floor lounge was a favorite. There's a conference room and lots of spots to sit, plug in a computer, and get work done. I can't wait to stay again. They also let you leave your car there while you're away, then shuttle you to the airport. The people here are so friendly and really focused on service, which matters a lot to me since I travel for work. For a low rate, you get a lot: the king suite had a comfy little sofa and table, plus a mini kitchenette with a sink, microwave, and mini fridge. The fitness room was fantastic too, with hand weights, bands, mats, balls, and more. Fabulous place, my new favorite near the airport. Thanks so much, Atwell!

A late flight made this a handy place to sleep before the hour-long drive to Big Sky for skiing. It was affordable and comfortable, with a well-designed feel and a really good breakfast. We're a little picky about breakfast, so that stood out. I wondered why there were no reviews, but it turns out the hotel is simply brand new.

After a long day of travel, I got to the desk around 12:45 a.m. and stood there for several minutes while both people helped a man to my left. Neither acknowledged me, even after a few more minutes. It would've been nice to hear they'd be with me shortly. The manager could check the video and see what happened. I finally left and went to the hotel next door. Really poor service. They'd also told me the shuttle couldn't run after 11 p.m. because there was only one person at the desk, which didn't make sense when I could see two people there.
