The Outpost

The price was great, and the stay was nice and easy. I booked last minute after a flight change so I could be close to the airport. I had no noise problems, unlike some other reviewers, though disposable earbuds were provided in the room if needed. The room and bathrooms were clean. Check-in was contactless, with entry instructions sent beforehand, and management was friendly and quick to respond when I texted to ask for a late check-out.

I loved the reminder text, and check-in was easy. The hotel was very clean, including the showers, laundry, and kitchen. The only downside was the pillows felt too hard and high, and the plastic lining on both the pillows and bed made it difficult to sleep. I loved the place otherwise and recommend it.

The Outpost is an unusual place to stay because the bathrooms and showers are shared, but the individual shower units are nice and conveniently placed around the facility. There are plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance, and the location is great. It’s an affordable option just 6 minutes from the Bozeman Airport. I really enjoyed my stay and plan to return next time I’m in the area.

We booked seven months ahead, but they never sent the entry code for our room. Our flight arrived late, at 1:00 a.m., and there was no way to get in or anyone we could contact. We reached a virtual assistant in another country, who said someone would call us back. That didn’t help us find somewhere to sleep that night. Don’t waste your time here. Get a regular hotel.
