Cobblestone Hotel & Suites-Bellefontaine

The breakfast was a real problem for us. We booked this place partly because it offered continental breakfast, but on Saturday the line stretched down the hall at 7 a.m. and the room was still too packed to reach the food. We had to buy breakfast elsewhere so we could make it to the funeral on time, which was an extra expense and hassle we hadn't planned for. We were in town because of a death in the family, and the two-night stay was stressful. Most of the hotel seemed to be filled with travel ball teams. Both nights, our young kids couldn't fall asleep until well after 11 because children were racing along the halls and stairs and slamming doors. Their parents seemed checked out, sitting in the courtyard or their rooms while the kids ran around. I don't understand why there wasn't more accountability. The downstairs hall was also constantly wet from children going back and forth to the pool. The hotel itself was really nice and the service was great. My parents have stayed twice and said they had the same experience. I'd like to return, but I'm not sure we will. I hope they set clearer rules for the teams so other guests are treated with more consideration.
