The service was exceptional and the rates were great. The room was clean, with a big fridge and good hot water pressure. But there’s no exhaust fan, and the fire alarm went off. I had to take it apart to make it stop. The shower curtain is old, too long, and needs replacing. A much wider one would help keep water from damaging the floors and walls.

Not recommended. The motel seems to charge Idaho hotel occupancy taxes inconsistently, sometimes charging them and sometimes not. That seems unlawful. Female guests also risk inappropriate behavior from the manager, Sam. The owner knows about these issues.

The room was cramped and very small, with a water heater in the closet and no bathroom fan. People seemed to be living in some rooms, and vehicles kept starting in the middle of the night, which I think may have been so people could smoke in them. It was noisy from that and from the planes overhead. The hotel was just okay, and I won’t stay again. There are better options nearby.

The room was very, very clean, and having a fridge and microwave was useful. It’s definitely a motel, so don’t expect much, but everything was good and I had nothing to complain about. The price felt a little high for what you get.

I was pleasantly surprised to find a full-size refrigerator and microwave. The place was well maintained and had that “I’m in the mountains of Idaho” feel. It’s a rustic log cabin motel on Idaho Route 75, about 20 minutes south of Sun Valley.
