I wouldn’t recommend paying $100 a night when there are cleaner, better options for less. Don’t walk across the floors barefoot. The rooms smelled like fresh cigarettes, despite being in a nonsmoking hotel, and the towels I finally got from housekeeping had stains. It was an uphill battle to get towels and washcloths, and housekeeping didn’t speak English. The walls were patched all over, and the motel is across from an RV yard that made me feel like I was on the set of Breaking Bad. With some care, painting, and attention to the bedding and towels, this place could work. Management needs to put some love into it. I’m in the military and have seen worse, but I’d rate this hotel two stars at best, maybe one.

I should’ve trusted my first instinct when I couldn’t reach them after hours to book. This stay was straight from the devil himself. We were in the room for less than 15 minutes, and I have timestamped photos to prove it. After briefly getting under the covers, I broke out in hives on my foot. I’ve since treated the reaction with proper medication. Management replied to my friend’s review by claiming we’d used the room by wetting towels and using the sheets. That was misleading and felt like an attempt to gaslight and discredit us. I also have photos of the bedding’s condition. They offered another room only after we complained, and then we had to keep negotiating just to get half a refund. The “better” room should have been what they gave us to start with. They emphasized that the replacement would be nonsmoking and king size, as if that fixed anything. We don’t smoke. We just needed somewhere to stay while in the area, since we don’t live nearby, and the difference didn’t matter. The room smelled of smoke and bleach, and toilet paper was stuffed into the peephole. I’m almost sure they’d just sprayed something or done a quick sweep instead of a deep clean. The toilet paper had to be from the last guest. Their effort to make things look better than they are and clear themselves was pure BS. A staff member even yelled at us aggressively over the phone. It was unprofessional and frightening. I’ve never had staff yell at me before. The business seems to lack basic policies and standards for cleanliness and hospitality. They seem more concerned with keeping the money than treating guests with basic respect. It appears to be privately run with little oversight, operating however it chooses. Don’t be misled by defensive replies on review sites. For your safety and peace of mind, I strongly advise against staying here.

There are several locations around the area, which makes it easy to find one for most needs. The rooms are consistently clean and comfortable, and the prices and service are great. I’d recommend booking with roadway inn. You won’t be disappointed.

The price was easy on the budget, so we could add another night without stressing over accommodation costs. We needed somewhere overnight while visiting family nearby, and it worked out perfectly. The room was tidy and everything worked, check-in was quick with a welcoming front desk team, and it stayed peaceful even though it’s near a main road.
