Best Western Plus Bellingham

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the bathroom had really nice citrus-smelling toiletries. We got a double bed even though I’d booked a queen. Breakfast was free, with lots of options and really good bacon. We booked last minute on booking.com at a great rate for one night. Parking was only $8 per night, and the place is very close to Bellingham airport, with free shuttle service all night and day.

We had a restful night and would choose this hotel again if we’re in the Bellingham area. The bed was reasonably comfortable, and the WiFi connected and worked wonderfully throughout our stay. Breakfast was complimentary and good, though not outstanding. The air conditioner was noisy, so we had to turn it off at night. Also, the washroom toilet sat very low, about 18 inches from the floor. Using it was a definite challenge if you lack inner core strength.

We came for one night and found the room clean and fresh. The continental breakfast had a nice range of things, including waffles you could make yourself. Staff were friendly and helpful, and kept the breakfast area in good shape. Breakfast ended at 9:30, earlier than at many places I’ve visited, so it may be too early for someone hoping to sleep in on vacation. Still, it was a perfect overnight stay, and we’d return.

Whenever I travel to Bellingham for business, I stay here and I’m never disappointed. The staff are fantastic, the rooms are clean, and it’s very quiet. This is the best hotel in Bellingham.
