My girlfriend, our 2-month-old son, and I stayed there, and it was an awful experience. Bed bugs came out from behind the headboard and bed and bit us night after night. I couldn't sleep and paced around for days, waking up itchy and feeling like I was being eaten alive. This was the worst place I've ever stayed, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I seriously wonder why it hasn't been shut down.

The woman at reception was kind and attentive, and the room was satisfactory, but it smelled strongly of mold and the floor seemed loose. I booked at the last minute for one night, just wanting a clean, smelly room where I could sleep and rest. Google mentioned free breakfast, but there wasn't any. For up to $75 a night, the price would have felt fairer.

The people staying here can be some of the best you'll meet, but the current management made our stay miserable. My fiance and I were thrown out after another motel incident: an older woman had been evicted after complaining about the building's bedbug infestation. We had no bugs in our room, but management was then told to have everyone move their belongings out for a day and deep-clean with proper supplies. Instead, the manager tried doing one room each day. After she was caught, she evicted people who weren't ready to move everything that day, without the 24-hour notice she'd promised. Our room was nasty. Wet clumps of hair were in the shower, and sink water labeled for drinking smelled and tasted like pool water. The walls barely seemed attached to the ceiling, yet management worried more about a couple of hair ties on the floor. When we asked for clean towels or sheets, the manager said we'd have to catch the cleaning crew the next morning. She said getting towels or a sheet from the next room was "beneath her." She was incredibly rude and self-centered. When we asked about our STATE ISSUED refund, she said she'd have to search the system for the refund date to send it back, and if she couldn't find it, she'd cancel it. The refund had been issued less than two weeks earlier, so it felt like she'd keep our money if she couldn't be bothered to look. My mother had stayed in the same room many years ago. After seeing my photos, videos, and recordings of the manager speaking to people, she said the place should burn down, be rebuilt, and restarted. Honestly, I agree. This place needs serious updates, starting with the staff. I wish I could give it fewer stars. Stay away. The electrical problems could burn it down eventually, and I hope nobody is inside if that happens.

The location suited our needs, but we booked online at one price and were charged much more when we arrived, nearly $150 extra. Keep an eye on your card if you stay here.
