Belmar Inn

I felt right at home thanks to the staff, and the place was clean and cozy throughout. The location was convenient, and I felt safe the whole time. Belmar Inn was a really pleasant surprise. I'll be back next time I'm in town.

The bathroom worked well, and I could shower without soaking the floor. My spacious room was clean, with comfortable beds, and the front desk staff were very friendly. Since it was off-season, things were quiet outside, and I barely heard anything from upstairs. I hadn't realized how close the beach was. I was pleasantly surprised and would gladly stay again.

Belmar Beach is a great beach, and it's really close to the inn. We stayed two nights over Labor Day weekend and would happily come back. The rooms are on the cozy side, but the ceilings are very high, the beds are comfortable, and the water gets hot. There's a fabulous veranda across the front, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend.

The porch is a lovely place to sit in the evening, and the hotel stays clean and fairly quiet at night. I've been here twice this summer and once last summer. It's close to the beach, no-frills, and affordable for what you get. Weekend breakfast is free, with bagels, donuts, and coffee, and the staff are kind and helpful. Bring a couple of water bottles if you'll want more than the one they give you at check-in. Extra water from the vending machine outside costs $5. I'd also bring your own shampoo and conditioner. They provide a small shampoo and a bar of soap when you arrive. The towels aren't great, though that's in line with a decent, clean hotel rather than a luxury one. Compared with other places I've stayed around here, this one is very clean.
