The staff were reasonable and easy to deal with, and we had no trouble with other guests or any unsafe situations. We stayed nine days at the end of May, and the price set the right level of expectations. The room had a decent amount of space, but a lot of the furnishings felt as cheap as possible: a rough bed, a small TV with blemishes, and crooked drawers and cabinets. The shower curtain rod was badly rusted and barely attached, while the toilet’s unusual flush mechanism often came apart and needed fixing. The kitchenette had a burner, fridge, and microwave, but none worked particularly well. Only one burner worked, the microwave was small, and even on its coldest setting the fridge didn’t get very cold. The freezer seal leaked and caused a lot of ice buildup. There was tableware, dishes, cookware, and strainers. We saw two cockroaches, but no bed bugs, which wasn’t too bad for this kind of hotel. The upper floor’s double-pane windows helped block outside noise, though I didn’t see the same setup downstairs. It’s pet friendly, with no issue bringing a pet, but you’ll hear pet noises often. The walls are thin, and plumbing and hallway sounds carry loudly, so bring earplugs.

The front desk person was very kind and checked us in easily. He also brought us clean blankets after seeing the dirty one. But the room itself was really gross. The floor felt sticky and slippery all over, as if something soapy had been spread around and left there. There was black powder on the blanket, a big clump of hair in the bed, and brown marks on the furniture that came off with a wet rag. I usually love Motel 6 and accept some flaws for the low prices, but this was disgusting. I’ll be telling people to avoid this location. It’s also made me question my trust in a brand I’ve generally felt keeps things basic but at least clean enough.

We stayed here with my family, and it worked out great. The place felt secure, with cameras and heavy doors, and the people there were really nice. The studio felt almost like having our own home, with privacy, a kitchen, microwave, kitchen towels, plates, and silverware. It was missing dish detergent and a sponge, but otherwise had everything. The bigger refrigerator and cooking setup make the studio a better choice than a regular room if you like to cook. It must be one of the best affordable studios around the Bay Area. I wish we could have stayed longer than a month. I’m sure plenty of people would pay to stay in a studio if they could.

There’s a great breakfast restaurant attached to the hotel, definitely not the usual Motel 6 type of place. That’s a big plus, along with the convenient location if you’re in Belmont. The room is basic with sparse decor, but the bed is comfortable and it has what you need for a good night’s sleep. We didn’t use the kitchen, though it was fully equipped with a nice stove, a good-sized fridge, microwave, plates, pots, pans, and the rest for cooking. It was surprisingly quiet so close to the freeway. Good value and location. Not beautiful, but functional. The shower did drip all night.

Good price for the area, and the place was clean. Hobee's diner is there for breakfast and lunch, with a taco truck for dinner.
