4th Street Lofts

The commons became a great spot for our bridal party to get ready and spend time together between wedding events. We also felt reassured leaving our things there because access was secure. Booking every room for the weekend meant our guests could stay on the property, which made everything feel connected and easy to coordinate. The rooms were comfortable, well kept, and thoughtfully laid out, and having everyone in one place made the weekend feel more intimate. It was one of our best decisions, and the lodging helped make the whole weekend go smoothly. I'd recommend it for anyone hosting or attending an event there.

We had such a comfortable, homey stay at the loft for our girlfriends Christmas. The family room had a beautiful view of Paul & Babe and the Christmas lights. It was also handy being close to local shops and restaurants. We really enjoyed it.

Getting in was easy: we were sent a code, so it felt more like an Airbnb and we didn't need to talk with staff. The room had lots of space and good lighting, and was nicely decorated. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the water was hot. I'd absolutely stay again.

The Roku apps gave us some trouble. Even after trying to fix them, several still wouldn't work, which was frustrating when we had downtime. We also expected the access details the day before arrival based on the first email, but they came later, and could have explained better where to enter and how to find the lofts area. We liked the room layout, found it comfortable, and appreciated the included parking pass. The location is great, and the hotel itself has a unique concept. During the severe storm in Bemidji, clearer advice about emergency steps or nearby shelters would have helped. One staff member responded quickly, which we appreciated, though they were loud enough to be heard down the hall during the situation. A few changes could make nights more restful: the building's main door slams loudly, and some extra sound dampening in the rooms would help. Better window coverings, especially blackout curtains, would also be useful with the early sunrises. We enjoyed our stay and like the idea behind the space.
