Best Western Bemidji

We drove three hours with two young kids for a concert, and the hotel mess left us with no time to get ready. Check-in was at 3, but we arrived at 4:30 and neither of our two rooms was ready. We came back around 6 and only one was available. They gave us a key, but that room was occupied. At the desk, we were assigned another room, which would have been fine if only one was ready, but it had other people's bags inside. Twice we were sent to rooms with people in them. When someone from the hotel later called about it, they tried to say it was our fault for not staying. I've never had such an awful hotel experience.

It's really quiet here, which is nice, and the hotel is in a good spot. But the whole place feels sketchy to me, including the rooms and staff. I think they need to work on the staff and do a better job cleaning the rooms.

The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was the one letdown for me; it wasn't very good, so I had to go to a restaurant instead.

We were really happy with our stay. The place was quiet, and the room felt clean and modern, with a very comfortable bed and pillows. Staff were super friendly, upgraded our room, and gave us water and snacks as reward members. We also used the hot tub. Our room faced the parking lot, so there was a bit of noise in the morning, but that happens at hotels.
