La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Bend

I stayed over Memorial weekend in 2026, and it was a letdown. The room was dirty and dusty, with a claw clip left by the previous guest. There was dried blood in the lotion, on the walls, and on a bath towel, which left us uneasy about what else hadn’t been cleaned. The pool was closed because the city of Bend had shut it down, apparently due to poor maintenance, like the rest of the hotel. That was the only reason we stayed there. The breakfast attendant was the one decent person, keeping everything stocked and clean. This was like a Motel 6, so don’t pay expecting better.

Isaiah made sure my family’s check-in went smoothly, and he was so kind and helpful. That kindness goes a long way. This La Quinta in Bend, OR has become one of my favorites. I’m a La Quinta fan and book them often when I travel. Great customer service, lots of space in the parking lot, and a GREAT breakfast. It’s a long drive from Central California, but worth it!

I was happy with both the room and the service. I’d booked a king suite, then learned it was on the third floor, which I don’t like when I have my dogs with me. Isaiah at the desk kindly found a comparable first-floor room for me, close enough to an entrance and exit near the pet area.

The clean rooms, wonderful staff, delicious breakfast, and price all made me very happy. I liked it so much I stayed an extra night. The beds, towels, and lotions made the stay feel complete, and housekeeping helped make it easy to get good rest. Everyone treated me kindly. One of the best hotels I’ve experienced in years, and I highly rate it.
