Pioneer Park Rentals

Downtown is close by, and we walked over to the Deschutes River for the view, finding a trail along the way. Our third-floor unit at Spruce Springsteen had two patios and an outdoor grill, and it was charmingly decorated. There’s no elevator, which is good to know. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the bathrooms were clean and well kept. We had some trouble figuring out the bedroom TV, but everything else worked and felt comfortable.

We spent a lot of time taking in the beautiful Deschutes river view and walking path just across the grass. The office staff were kind and helpful too. Our rooms, 162 &163 Pine & Dandy, were cozy, cute, and so nicely decorated, more than we could have hoped for. The kitchen had everything we needed to make great steak dinners. Ten out of ten!

The property sits right by the Deschutes River and Drake Park, and we found it easy to walk to most of our dinners after hiking. We booked through Air B & B and stayed at Troys place, where the host was great. There are condos right on the water and others set farther back, with very reasonable prices. It’s a handy base for downtown Bend, dining, and getting out to hike or explore nature. We made a Youtube video @hikebytes with adventure ideas within 30 minutes of Bend Oregon and mentioned our favorite restaurants and rental. We’d stay here again, especially for access to the great hiking trails.

The pictures matched the place, and it’s a roomy, comfortable space with good amenities. It seems like a great option when you’re waiting for rentals to open up and need somewhere to stay. There’s only one negative review, and the person who left it hadn’t even stayed, so I really can’t recommend the place enough. I’m looking forward to spending more time here and seeing more of beautiful Bend.
