Riverhouse Lodge

The river-facing room with a fireplace was a hit with our kids, and we all enjoyed the stay. It was clean and comfortable, and the staff were courteous and easy to work with. The Current restaurant had a good menu, generous portions, and felt worth the price.

The restaurant right on the river was a fun place, and the food was excellent. I was surprised by how comfortable and updated the rooms felt, and the whole hotel seemed thoughtfully put together. My room had a gas fire pit overlooking the water. With the sliding door open, the sound was like being beside a waterfall. If you can book a river view, I'd recommend it. A great stay for the price.

The on-site restaurant has a great menu, and I'd stay here again. The property has a sauna, steam room, workout area, and indoor pool with hot tub. Call the front desk to have the sauna warmed up. The outdoor pool was closed. We stayed M-F while I tagged along on my lady's business trip, in a second-floor room overlooking the river. Rooms below had gas fire pits outside. Ours was large, clean, and had two queen beds. The secure door, fridge, and shower soaps were all there, though we ran out of soap because we didn't have service. I worked in the room all week, and the wi-fi disconnected each day at the worst time, so I had to reconnect. The first step into the room is a bit lower, so watch it. I liked how completely dark it got with the curtains closed, but there was no light to the john for a middle-of-the-night trip. It was quiet, with no noise from other rooms, and I slept pretty well.

We came for my cousin's memorial, and the staff were kind and accommodating. The banquet hall was beautifully arranged. The signs were clear, though we still stopped by the main office for directions, and they helped us. We never expected so many people to come say goodbye, and the room ended up standing room only.
