Rodeway Inn & Suites

It's quiet, the shower pressure is great, I slept better than at home, and the staff at the desk were very nice. The coffee was good too. The price was ridiculously low, so my expectations were low as well. I've paid twice as much for a similar room in the Smokey Mountains. My only issue is that I think they clear all the keys at checkout.

For a 1 star hotel, this little find was really nice for the price. The basic two queen rooms were clean, comfortable, and the beds were comfy. I have a fractured spine and grinding vertebrae, so that says a lot. The indoor pool is beautiful, and there's a hot tub too. We showed my husband's veteran ID when asking about a discount, but weren't given one. It was a small thing and not a big issue for us. The area seemed a little sketchy, but we had absolutely no problems. I loved the second floor, where each room has its own deck with a casual table and two chairs. We'll definitely be back.

I wouldn't stay at this motel again. The room seemed to have had only a surface clean, with no thorough deep cleaning for quite a while. We had a cat with us, so maybe that's why we got such a dirty room. The pool water was a nice temperature, but paint was peeling off the bottom and sides and the pool needs an upgrade. There was so much chlorine in the hot tub I could barely sit in it.

I needed a room fast after running out of drive time, and three chain hotels I called were full. I parked at the grocery store and walked over, figuring I’d check. They had several rooms available, and mine was only $57. Room 108 was small but just right for me, with a clean, very comfortable queen bed. The place was quiet, and management was accommodating about letting me park my big box truck beside the office. No deposit, either. I grabbed dinner across the street. The town looked beautiful, and I wish I’d had more time there. I’d stay again if I’m back in the area.
