It was easy to feel welcome here, which isn’t how a lot of hotels make you feel these days. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and you could tell they went out of their way to make guests feel appreciated. The rooms and hallways have been updated and look awesome. The hotel has been beautifully renovated and modernized. Highly recommend!

The bed was really uncomfortable and the pillows were cheap. In the morning, I said good morning to the front desk and got no reply. The place felt completely unwelcoming. I chose the comped hotel offer for a staycation, but it turned into a very poor experience. They kept my $250 deposit, saying they needed it for a “deep cleaning” after two nights when I’d asked not to be disturbed and received no room cleaning. Nobody notified me; I had to call to find out. That’s absurd. It’s a huge deposit, the most I’ve ever paid at any hotel, including the W, Winston, and four-, five-, three-, and two-star places. This doesn’t even deserve one star. You’d be better off at a motel. Avoid this bizarre “hotel”.
