Garden Inn Suites

I stopped here after work because I had an early shift the next day and worked up the street. The older woman was rude, handed my debit card back, and said they only wanted cash. I asked how much so I could get it from the ATM across the street. Then she flat out said she wouldn't rent me a room because I was Black. She went to the back and left me standing in the lobby for ten minutes. I couldn't believe she was serious. This place felt racist and dirty. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.

The room was big, but it smelled bad, just like the entrance. The person at the counter wasn't friendly at all. The sheets were torn, the toilet only flushed if you held the plunger down, and water stains marked the ceiling, with plaster falling off. If I hadn't arrived at 1 AM, I would have left.

Horrible stay. The owners are rude, and make sure you know the checkout time because they'll call the police if you're not out. There was mold in the fridge, the rug needed a deep clean, and the comforter had burn holes. They were stingy with the cheap towels and left only half a roll of tissue. They come into the room saying they're doing housekeeping, but things stay dirty because they only spot clean, and they don't replace the towels. I could go on. Stay here only as a last resort.

The bathroom had mold, and the room smelled bad. The sheets weren't completely white, with yellow stains, and the comforter had cigarette burn holes. I also found a blood stain on the side of the bed, and the towels were cheap. The woman at the front desk was really rude and not welcoming. Keep in mind they don't give refunds, so you're stuck there once you go. I'd pay a little more somewhere else and feel comfortable instead of ending up in a room like this. First and last time for me.
