Holiday Inn Express & Suites Benson by IHG

We arrived late one evening after booking at the last minute, and the staff were so welcoming they even offered us soup. Breakfast was good each morning, the beds were comfortable, and the rooms were quiet with very little outside noise. I liked having firm and soft pillows clearly marked on their cases. Everything felt new, clean, and well cared for. There was plenty of parking for large vehicles, buses, and trailers, and my son enjoyed the pool. Coffee, hot water, and cocoa were available all the time. I also appreciated the Dove soap, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner, which don’t dry out my skin and hair. The amenities were great, and this has been our favorite place to stay so far. Highly recommend!

Room 433 looked out toward the forest behind the hotel, and this was such a peaceful place to stay. We could walk to a pizza shop and a BBQ restaurant, with a gas station and convenience store a bit farther away. The rooms were incredibly clean, and breakfast had fresh, healthy choices. They’ve got charging ports all over the hotel and in the rooms, plus a big TV. Outside, there’s a nice electric firepit and grill. The convenience items by the front desk were reasonably priced, too. We were greeted in the lobby by Bumble over the Christmas holidays. This is one of the nicest Holiday Inns we’ve stayed in, and their rewards program seems well worth joining. Highly recommend.

We were traveling with our young family and had a frightening night. A drunk man kept going between the lobby and parking lot, then later passed out naked outside our door and hit it while groaning and yelling. He blocked us from leaving the room, woke our kids, and was outside with police for quite a while. The situation was eventually handled. What made it worse was that the manager couldn’t offer us any help or refund as members, even though our room was right where it all happened. The hotel itself was nice, but that service was inexcusable. We won’t stay again.

After 12 hours on the road from FL toward New England, I needed somewhere to sleep. This Holiday Inn was clean and new, with friendly staff and great customer service. The room was clean and well appointed, and breakfast was good. It feels like a small boutique hotel. If you’re driving I-95 and need a place to stop, don’t hesitate. Awesome.
