Extended Stay America Premier Suites - Asheville

The room itself was very nice and clean, and both the bed and recliner were really comfortable. But the smell was unpleasant: despite being a non-smoking room, it smelled like stale cigarette smoke mixed with a strong air freshener. When we got home, even clothes we hadn’t worn still smelled bad and had to be washed.

I was staying here because of the location, but the heater kept failing. On my first visit I switched rooms four times before finding one with working heat. The second time, the heater didn’t work, and on my third visit the room again had no working heater. Three strikes for me. I won’t stay here again, so stay somewhere else if you can.

Donna, the GM, has been incredibly welcoming and hospitable, and I really appreciate the staff at this Extended Stay. Bill and DJ also stay attentive to residents during their visits. The facility is clean, and the location is good, so I highly recommend the hotel.

The room clearly hadn’t been cleaned: there were items left in the fridge, dirt and hair in the tub, and poop stains in the toilet. There wasn’t even any tissue in the bathroom. When I asked if they could clean it, I was told I’d have to wait until morning for a manager. I got a refund right away and went to another hotel. I expect a hotel to meet its obligations once I’ve paid, and this one didn’t. Completely unacceptable. I would not recommend it.
