We checked in at 3 and left at 6:30 pm. Nobody greeted us for quite a while after we pulled up, and it didn’t seem like anyone wanted to. Then we saw a German cockroach crawling on the bed. We started freaking out a little and read about BED BUGS here, and I can 100% see that. The room was disgusting. We didn’t ask for the room refund or pet fee back because the place was so gross. Instead of sleeping there, we drove eight hours back to Texas. Don’t stay here.

We left early. The smoking room smelled like a wet dog, and it wasn’t mine. It took air freshener just to go all the way inside. The carpet was dirty and sticky, and we ran out of hot water easily. No, no, not again, sorry. Breakfast was dry cereal, coffee, juice, and waffles maybe. I only had coffee.

The room was clean and quiet, the staff were great, and everything we needed was nearby. We had the king suite because we wanted the hot tub, but it didn’t work, which was the one big downside. Also, while we were out for the day, someone entered our room while our bags and other things were open. Nothing was touched, though. Other than that, it was a great stay!

The owner quickly refunded our money, which I really appreciated. The room smelled awful and was full of mildew, and even the bedspread felt damp. If we’d stayed, my asthma and allergies would have sent me to the ER. Outside, there was a guy like a character from Trailer Park Boys, shirtless with a bourbon drink in one hand, talking on his phone while looking under the hood of his rusty 1991 pickup. Looking back, the whole thing was hilarious. 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅🤣😅
