The replacement room was only a little better. There weren’t roaches in it, but there was mold in the bathroom corners, holes burned into the bedspread, and what looked like bloody mucus spatters all over the room. I also picked up three or four small broken pieces of glass from the floor. In the first room they sent me to, there were about 20 cockroaches in the bathroom and all over the shower curtain, plus what I can only assume was crack residue all over the bedside table. It was obvious to me that they don’t care about the condition of the rooms. I feel like the health department would shut the place down and needs to come inspect it. I was charged a dog fee even though my pup is a service animal. They also said the room cost more because it was a “nicer” non smoking room, but by law since 2021 all rooms are supposed to be non smoking. If you’re strung out or desperate, it’ll do.

Filthy place, with roaches and beds that were so uncomfortable. The doors barely stayed secured, and the motel needs help. One lamp couldn’t be plugged in because the outlet was already being used by the AC unit.

The kids are very loud, banging and screaming through the walls, and the parents argue with them. They even bang on the walls about the TV being on. In the bathroom, the walls are so thin I could hear them talking while I was on the toilet. It’s a weird place, and privacy doesn’t seem to be respected. For how expensive it is, it’s just not worth it. The family that owns it has several children, and you hear it all through the walls.

The woman I spoke to on the phone was nice, though the gentleman at the property grilled me for no reason when I arrived. For a week, $300 isn’t bad when other places are around $360 and up. The room had a TV, a few chairs, a dresser, table, nightstand, lamp, refrigerator, and microwave. It was dirty, with holes in the walls, and looked like it hadn’t been updated apart from the beds.

The owners were nice and friendly, but they need to hire someone to clean. I had to bring in my own pillows and blankets and wipe the room down myself because everything was dirty and nasty. The owners live in the motel with their kids, and the food they cook made our room stink. For $70, I guess you get what you pay for, but I believe they’d fail an inspection and get shut down.
