Bluffs Inn

We stayed here for a family snowmobile weekend. The motel was clean and tidy, with trailer parking and easy access to the snowmobile trail. Bob, the owner, was very helpful with information about the area. I’d definitely recommend it.

The staff are friendly, and the lodging is inexpensive. You get what you pay for, so don’t expect four-star accommodations.

We’ve stayed here many times when visiting family nearby, and I’ve never had a more personal, personable hotel stay, despite having stayed at plenty of places. It’s small and fairly basic, the heating can be noisy, and the windows are thin, so it may not suit picky or demanding guests. The owners are a married couple, and there aren’t overnight employees, so getting help after hours can be difficult. During regular hours, though, they’re very accommodating. They’ll treat you like an old friend or extended family if you treat them like people too and take time for a conversation.

The rooms aren’t fancy, but they’re very clean and reasonably priced. The folks running this place are top notch, and it’s set up well for a snowmobile trip, with easy access to trail 2 and lots of parking. Fuel is easy to get, and there’s plenty of food nearby. Give it a try!
