Courtyard by Marriott Bethlehem Lehigh Valley/I-78

Danny at the front desk and Mark at the bar both made us feel welcome. Danny was professional and helpful, and Mark served our meals at the bistro as well as making a great gin martini and cosmopolitan. We saw plenty of friendly teamwork from the rest of the staff too, including housekeeping, even though I didn’t get to meet everyone. We spent Valentine's Day weekend here, and the quiet hours helped make it feel especially relaxing. Breakfast in the bistro costs extra. The property is clean, cared for, and welcoming, though it’s due for a renovation. Its spot where routes 78 and 33 meet is handy as a gateway to the Lehigh Valley. My girlfriend and I are looking forward to coming back.

The only drawback was the bathroom staying hot and steamy after a shower, since there wasn’t a fan. Otherwise, I had a good two-week stay in a clean, well-appointed room. The lobby is fantastic, and having a laundry room was useful. I only had a couple of morning coffees at the hotel cafe, but this will be my regular place to stay when I visit family each year.

We came to Bethlehem for Thanksgiving to see family, and the hotel made a convenient base. There’s a roomy lobby for catching up with friends, reading, or watching TV, along with a bar and restaurant where we enjoyed very good food and drinks. The place feels modern and clean. It exceeded our expectations and is a welcome addition to the Bonvoy portfolio.

The staff have always been friendly and quick to help whenever we’ve stayed here. We’ve been coming to the Lehigh Valley for years because our children attended Moravian University and Muhlenberg College, and the hotel is easy to reach from either campus. It’s clean and well placed near restaurants and businesses, so it works nicely for both work trips and personal visits.
