Chamberlain West Hollywood

The rooftop pool was a great place to catch both sunrise and sunset, and the bar also serves coffee in the morning. Our studio suite had a fireplace and balcony, with loads of space, and it was wonderfully quiet, which matters a lot to us in this part of town. The Chamberlain has that classic old Hollywood feel and is easy to get around from. We walked to the Rainbow Room, Trader Joe’s, and Gracias Madre, and a quick Uber got us around the rest of West Hollywood. Staff welcomed us warmly at check-in with their signature champagne cocktail. We’d happily stay again, and recommend it.

It’s an okay place for the money, better than Motel 6 but nothing special, and definitely not luxury. The location is pretty good, and there’s a rooftop pool, though I didn’t try the food. The doors are rotten, the AC leaks, and the carpets smell pretty bad. Valet is $65 a night. There’s potential here if it had proper management and some investment.

The location suited us perfectly, and we’re hoping to come back on our next visit. We stayed seven nights and felt at home from arrival right through to departure. Faruk, Ramesh, and Jasmine were especially helpful whenever we needed anything. The staff were some of the kindest, most hospitable people we’ve met.

Weho has a real hidden gem here. The hotel sits in a quiet spot just a few steps from Santa Monica Blvd. Our room looked lovely, was comfortable, and had nice decor, with thoughtful attention to detail. The team were always smiling, courteous, and keen to help with anything. Thanks to everyone there. I’d definitely recommend it and would be very happy to stay again someday.
