Shay Meadows Ranch & Resort #2500

We had 60 wedding guests stay onsite, and the rest found VRBOs within walking distance. Everything we needed for the rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, wedding, reception, dancing, and next day brunch was available in the Event area, so we didn’t need to go elsewhere. Big Bear Village and the Marina are a short distance away, with shops, paddleboat tours, restaurants, alpine slides, and hikes for guests to enjoy. We hosted our daughter’s wedding weekend at Shay Meadows Ranch & Resort, arriving Thursday night and staying until Monday. Frankie and her staff made sure we had what we needed the whole time. The staff were friendly, professional, happy, and attentive, easily a 10 out of 10. The cottages were spacious and nicely decorated, with comfortable beds and well stocked kitchens. The several acres of grounds are gorgeous and well maintained, with lovely views, ponds, firepits, and comfortable patio seating. We were incredibly impressed and would highly recommend it for a wedding, a team building weekend, a get together with family or friends, or a cottage stay. We’ll be back for a family gathering in the near future.

The service was great, and Frankie and Heather, the wedding coordinator, made sure everyone was looked after. The accommodations were incredible. Before and after the ceremony, family and friends could gather by the beautiful coy pond under the edison lights, which took the pressure off the event. Beautiful venue, highly recommend!

Our guests had a wonderful weekend staying right on the gorgeous property. Shay Meadows was the most spectacular wedding venue we could have picked. Frankie and her team did so much to keep the weekend smooth and relaxing, and Frankie even helped us out when another vendor made things complicated. We’d recommend the venue 1000% to anyone planning a beautiful mountain wedding.

Kim Martin’s Salon is the cutest shop, with creative touches everywhere. The stylist is a color expert and a great conversationalist, with a spunky, outgoing personality. She’s an ageless, classy woman with a sassy hairstyle!
